The other day I did something that I had never done before. I drove my car alone about 10 km. In fact, this could be something insignificant but since I obtained my driving licence I have always driven with someone else in the car. 

The reason of this extraordinary thing is that we were going to have our car repaired, nothing very important, but the car would stay in the garage for some days. And given the fact that we use our car everyday to go to work, we borrowed another car.

I had about 5 minutes of narrow streets, double-parked cars, lots of people that suddenly pass through zebra crossings or not, too much traffic and lights and so many two-way streets!!! Then, to top it off, I couldn't lose my route guide, who was driving just in front of me. 

Once we left the city, there was only darkness and silence. Untill we arrive home, I discovered lots of new noises of the car that I wasn't aware of. I had no time to be frightened, just to be focused on following my guide. At the end, everything went ok and I am looking forward to drive alone again.
